The De La Senyora (Hivernenca) is said to originate in Spain and is a green skinned fig with red pulp. De la Senyora Hivernenca roughly translates to Of the Lady of Hivernenca. There are several similar named varieties which are hard to trace but this one seems to have made its way down under first to Western Australia decades ago and eventually into other collectors possessions in the rest of the country.
